Flurazepam during pregnancy and lactation

Small amount of drug excrete into breast milk, if required low dose should be prescribed.

	Flurazepam drug crosses the placenta during pregnancy, congenital malformations associated with the use of minor tranquilizers (i.e., chlordiazepoxide, diazepam, meprobamate) during the first trimester of pregnancy. There are no adequate studies in pregnant women.
Breast feeding	Flurazepam no recommendation regarding use during lactation.
