Use of telmisartan during pregnancy

Telmisartan is a medication primarily used to treat high blood pressure. However, it's generally not recommended during pregnancy due to potential risks to the fetus. Telmisartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), which have been associated with fetal harm if used during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
